Forklift Operator

FlexCold Jacksonville operates a temperature-controlled public cold storage facility at JAXPORT's Dames Point terminal, providing frozen and refrigerated logistics services for importers, exporters, and distributors. FlexCold is seeking experienced Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations. Responsibilities: safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment (-10°F to 34°F); move pallets and product between storage locations, receiving docks, and shipping docks; follow lot rotation (FIFO) and product placement procedures; scan and verify product using warehouse management system; assist with inventory cycle counts; maintain safe and organized work areas; participate in daily safety briefings. Requirements: prior forklift operation experience required; sit-down and reach truck experience preferred; ability to work in frozen and refrigerated environments for full shift; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; attention to detail and accuracy; TWIC card required or ability to obtain for port facility access.
