1. Who We Are

SECargoWork.com is a niche job board connecting industrial and logistics employers with workers across the nine-state Southeast United States. We are a privately operated website. Questions about this policy can be directed to jobs@secargowork.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the site:

  • Job seekers (subscribers): Email address, optional first name, and your location and category preferences if you sign up for job alerts. We do not require an account to browse jobs.
  • Employers: Company name, website, email address, and billing information (processed by Stripe — we do not store payment card numbers).
  • All visitors: Standard server and analytics logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This is collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send job alert emails to subscribers who have confirmed their email address
  • To process employer job postings and billing
  • To improve site performance and understand how the site is used
  • To communicate with employers about their account or listings

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Email Communications

If you subscribe to job alerts, you will receive emails when new jobs matching your preferences are posted. Every alert email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time and we will stop sending emails promptly.

Employers may receive transactional emails related to their account or job listings. These are required to operate the service and cannot be opted out of while an account is active.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate SECargoWork:

  • Supabase — database and employer authentication
  • Vercel — website hosting and performance analytics
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing for employer job postings

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We use them solely to operate the site and do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.

6. Cookies

We use cookies only as necessary for the site to function — specifically for employer login sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics (Vercel Analytics) are privacy-friendly and do not require cookie consent under most jurisdictions.

7. Data Retention

Job seeker subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your data is deleted. Employer account data is retained for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for billing and legal purposes. Expired job listings are retained in our database for analytics purposes but are not shown publicly.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing jobs@secargowork.com. Job seekers can also remove themselves from all communications immediately via the unsubscribe link in any alert email.

9. Children

SECargoWork is intended for adults seeking or posting employment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
